Lux's Story
Introducing Lux, the 16.3 hand German Warmblood gelding with a diverse résumé, ranging from Short Stirrup to Performance Hunters, Big Equitation classes, and 1.10 meter jumpers. This easygoing fellow offers an effortless ride with auto lead changes, unfazed by being blind in his left eye.
Despite his sight impairment, Lux embodies a calm and sweet nature, displaying a "take it in stride" attitude both on the ground and while jumping. He's not the least bit spooky and approaches jumps with confidence, embracing fun challenges. He requires ZERO prep for horse shows. His rider could be late and frazzled, rushing to the ring, and he remains calm, cool, and collected.
Lux is a gentleman in the barn, standing calmly for the farrier, enjoying baths and body clipping, and loading onto trailers without a fuss. He's an ideal partner for a Junior looking to master Short Stirrup through Pre-Children's or an Adult aspiring to excel at the 3' level.
